EFS West/Second Nature Resource Center
Education for Sustainability Profiles
This database contains profiles of sustainability initiatives underway at colleges and universities across North America. These resources help to build the EFS movement by sparking new ideas and allowing those planning projects to benefit from insights of previous experiences.
Profiles typically include: information on project background, a timeline of steps taken, opportunities and challenges arising during the experience, and outcomes (tangible and/or intangible).
Each profile is published with the permission of the institution.
Educators, administrators, operations and facilities managers and students can explore this database to learn how to advance sustainability on their campuses. The profiles are organized by type (greening the campus, community involvement, sustainability research, institutional transformation, and curriculum change). You may browse the entire database by type, or by institution, or search the database by keyword.
